The Stella Historical Society helps shape the future through researching and preserving the past and present by sharing our history with the world. We invite you to see things through the lenses of our outstanding collections. You’ll learn more than you ever thought possible as you experience the lives of the early pioneers.

You will always find something new in our special events, educational lectures, and exhibitions.

Step back in time and discover the lives and history of the early settlers from our Special Events, Workshops, Exhibits and Recorded History. The SHS along with a team of volunteers work diligently to ensure that visitors of all ages can experience and learn about our local history through our hands-on exhibits and artifacts.

Discover and learn about our recently restored items in our collection. Test your typing skills on our Underwood Typewriter No. 5. Listen to some old tune on our 1910 Concert Roller Organ. Ask for a demonstration of our 1889 Rival No. 1 Apple Peeler Corer Slicer. There is always something new to discover at the museum.
