Hands-On Workshops
A Reflection of the Past
The blacksmith workshops teach the basics of a craft skill that was essential in serving the farming, logging, fishing industry and community of Stella and the surrounding area in the late 1800s.
The Stella Historical Society hopes to continue to offer the workshops for the purpose of educating the public so they can learn about the local history, including the blacksmith shop that was built in 1907.
